The Koalas are cute and small creatures who hang around in eucalyptus (yoo-kuh-lip-tuh s) trees. When the mother gives birth to a koala joey (baby koala) they are placed in a cute, small pouch for six months. Sadly, the koala population is decreasing due to deforestation.
